Is it possible to disable the sunrise/sunset display option ? Sometimes it is too much dark.

Menu View > Show/Hide... > Show night zones
Or if you want to lighten the night zone: Menu QtVlm > Configuration > General > Appearance > Colours > Night zone opacity : Set to lower value. Try 70 for example.
