Coasts or other obstacles encountered was created by mdebrauw
Hi,
Relative newbie here. I am trying to create a routing for a pathway but keep encountering the "Coasts or other obstacles encountered" error.
The pathway is super straightforward, it goes only over deep water and is not super close to shore. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get this to work. The routing I am trying to do is from Cowes to the needles, so narrow water, but nothing that should prevent me to create a routing I'm assuming.
I have "Coastlines from vector charts" checked on and set to S57/63. When I switch this off, the routing is calculated, but goes over land and doesn't make sense at all.
What are some "debugging" stragegies to better understand what I am doing wrong here? Thanks, any help is much appreciated!

Sorry for the late answer.
What vector charts are you using ?
Also check the depth settings in vector charts parameters, since anything lower than Shallow Contour will be an obstacle. Also check what you have eventually set as Optional obstacles.
Since you are in narrow waters you may also decrease the isochrons duration. Also make sure you have not set a too big constraints for tacks and gybes.
