routing crossing Antimeridian was created by Apolloni
Hello everyone,
I am experiencing a problem with routing crossing the Antimeridian, where the isochrones are interrupted.
It seems as a bug in the reading of Grib files: no wind data is extracted between 179° East and 180° West.
Any suggestions?
Riccardo

Tested again here, no problem
Make sure your gribs actually cover the antemeridian line. For instance it is not possible to download a xygrib grib crossing this line, so if you have 2 grib one stopping at 179.9°E and the other one starting at 179.9°W that will create a hole and routing will stop
One solution is to download for instance a VLM Partial grib that will cover the line.

Tanks
The gribs I'm using are from Era5 Copernicus: there is an hole between 179.5 and 180.

In that case as I said just add a VLM partial grib to jump over these longitudes
